Family values: Americans think affairs are worse than polygamy

Interesting article – Family values: Americans think affairs are worse than polygamy | The Economist.

While most people did think having an affair was worse than married couples living in polygamy (likely also polyamory), there was only a few percent difference.

And all of this was much worse than a whole list of other bad things.

While the results of polls are always defined by the questions asked, it does make you wonder. When you decide to live an alternative lifestyle, like polyamory or polygamy, one of the things you’ll need to deal with is the reaction from your friends and family.

For some, this may not be important. But the further you extend your poly family the more likely you are to run into closed doors.

Has this happened to you?

How did you handle it?

Let me know…
